Just three more days of competition remain of the 2020 Olympic Games and BBC Sport and Eurosport will have comprehensive live coverage of day 14 from Tokyo.
SOTB’s Olympics TV guides will take you through all the key action and list the must-see moments every day throughout the Games.
A total of 21 Olympic sporting disciplines are in action on Friday and 23 more gold medals are set to be won. Here is a summary of the best action to look out for:
ATHLETICS: Two race walk finals and bumper evening session inside the Olympic Stadium headline the athletics events on day 14 in Tokyo, with eight golds on offer, including the men’s and women’s 4x100m relays.
In the women’s event, Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith and her team are bidding for the medals. United States are the defending Olympic champions, but a strong Jamaica squad, featuring Elaine Thompson-Herah who won individual golds in the 100m and 200m, are firm favourites to win, but anything is possible in the relays. The men’s equivalent follows straight after, which features a British presence, but the dominant United States team will be absent for the first time in many years, having failed to qualify from their heat.
Laura Muir goes in the women’s 1500m final, hoping to secure that elusive first medal in a major outdoor championships. But she faces strong competition from Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands, who has already won 5,000m gold, as well as Kenya’s Faith Kipyegon.
Another highlight on the night is the women’s 400m final, where American Allyson Felix, could become the most-decorated female track and field athlete of all time by winning an incredible tenth Olympic medal. Also in the race is Great Britain’s Jodie Williams, who fancies her chances of winning a medal after dipping below 50 seconds for the first time in the semi-finals.
TRACK CYCLING: Katie Archibald and Laura Kenny ride for Great Britain in the women’s madison, with Kenny aiming to become the first British woman to win gold at three Olympics. But a medal of any colour would see her join dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin as GB’s most-decorated female Olympian, on six medals.
BOXING: Always one of the highlights of the boxing schedule at any Olympic Games, the men’s heavyweight final takes place between ROC’s Muslim Gadzhimagomedov and Cuba’s Julio la Cruz.
Elsewhere, Britain’s Lauren Price, is guaranteed a bronze medal in the women’s middleweight division, but if she beats Nouchka Fontijn of the Netherlands, then she will fight for gold.
HOCKEY: Great Britain’s reign as Olympic women’s champions may be over, but they can secure a bronze medal by beating India, while in the gold medal match, the Netherlands, who lost to GB in the incredible Rio 2016 final, face Argentina.
DIVING: Tom Daley won gold earlier in the Games in the men’s 10m synchronised competition with Matty Lee. But it’s back to business today for Daley, who’ll put down his knitting and get his campaign for a second medal underway in the preliminary round of the men’s 10m platform.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL: The beach volleyball competition reaches the medal matches today, starting with the women’s gold and bronze contests. Australia take on the United States in the final, which takes place after Latvia play Switzerland for bronze.
FOOTBALL: It’s also down to the medal matches in the football, with Sweden taking on Canada for gold in the women’s tournament in Yokohama, a match which has been moved to an evening kick-off due to the intense Tokyo daytime heat. Earlier in the day, hosts Japan face Mexico for bronze in the men’s tournament.

A thrilling evening of athletics gets underway in Tokyo with six gold medals on offer, headlined by the 4x100m relay finals.
Great Britain’s men and women’s relay teams both won silver at the 2019 World Championships so will be looking to go one better in Tokyo. The men’s 5,000m title also takes place, an event in which Great Britain’s Sir Mo Farah famously won gold in both London and Rio. Other finals take place in the women’s javelin, 400m and 1,500m.
The women’s football final takes place between Sweden and Canada, which has been moved to an evening kick-off due to the intense daytim heat in Tokyo. Going into the 2016 Rio Games, the USA had reached the final at every Olympics since women’s football was first introduced in 1996, winning four golds and one silver. However, they suffered a shock loss against Sweden in the quarter-finals and went into these Games desperate to regain gold.
Elsewhere, sport climbing is new to the Olympics for these Games and is sure to prove popular. In the women’s final, Great Britain’s medal hope comes from Shauna Coxsey, who won World Championship bronze in 2019.
