Ski Sunday: 2022 season on BBC Two

Ski Sunday returns in a new primetime slot for the 2022 season on BBC Two as the anticipation builds towards the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Now in its 45th year, BBC Sport’s flagship winter sports show will feature the usual mix of thrilling racing from the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup races, as well as incredible action from across the world of snowsport, in the build up to the Winter Games in February.

Chemmy Alcott and Ed Leigh return to present the 2022 series, with episodes airing in a primetime slot – 8pm on Sunday evenings (except 16 January).

Their will be extended highlights of key races from skiing hotspots in Switzerland, Austria and Italy, as well as special features on leading British winter sports stars, including Dave Ryding, Katie Ormerod and Gus Kenworthy.

The 2022 series, comprising of five episodes, starts on 2 January and concludes on 30 January, with the Winter Games starting the following week.

Live free-to-air coverage of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be broadcast across BBC TV and online from 4-20 February.

Each episode will also be broadcast online via the BBC Sport website – bbc.co.uk/sport – and available to watch live or via catch-up on BBC iPlayer.
