The azaleas are back in bloom as the Masters returns to its traditional spring slot and you can follow all the action across all four days of the first men’s major of 2021 live on Sky Sports.
The tournament is back in its usual spot in the calendar, having moved to November last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, with world number one Dustin Johnson returning as defending champion after winning the Green Jacket in record-breaking fashion in 2020.
There were no patrons present at Augusta last year but there will be a limited number in 2021, meaning the Masters will be the first major contested with spectators present since the 2019 Open at Royal Portrush.
Dustin Johnson won his first Masters in style, finishing with a record-breaking score of 20 under par at the Augusta National course. But who will be donning the famous green jacket in 2021?
Fans can follow all four days of the first men’s major of 2021 exclusively live via Sky Sports’ dedicated Masters channel, or by watching extended daily free-to-air highlights on BBC Two.
Unlike other tournaments, the Masters Committee traditionally imposes tight restrictions over the amount of live TV coverage available to all broadcasters worldwide, meaning that fans will not be able to watch every shot from the whole tournament live from start to finish.
Full play-by-play TV coverage will not be available until the final few hours of play each day, when American networks CBS and ESPN begin their main transmission, with full coverage of the first three rounds starting at 8pm UK time, while the final round’s coverage gets underway at 7pm.
As in previous years, the Masters will once again make available additional live streams, including Amen Corner, extra holes and featured groups, throughout each day’s play, with all of these available to view across Sky Sports’ digital platforms.

The men’s major golf season begins this month at The Masters, with round-the-clock coverage from Augusta National exclusively live on Sky Sports.
It is ten years since Sky Sports covered its first Masters and the pay-TV broadcaster took over exclusive live coverage of the entire tournament for the first time in 2020.
Sky Sports’ dedicated Masters channel will provide all the available live coverage to UK viewers throughout the week, with plenty of extra feeds available during the tournament and a host of bonus content throughout the week.
As in 2020, the majority of the Sky Sports presenting team will be based at Sky Studios in west London, with Nick Dougherty and Sarah Stirk leading the presenting team throughout the week, alongside regular commentators Ewen Murray, Paul McGinley, Rich Beem and Andrew Coltart. Butch Harmon will again be part of the coverage via video link from his home in Las Vegas, reporter Cara Banks will be on-site at Augusta, and European Tour professional Eddie Pepperell will be part of Sky’s studio team.
Global broadcast restrictions mean that full live play-by-play coverage will begin from 8pm for the first three days and 7pm on Sunday – all on Sky Sports The Masters – although there will be lots of live action to enjoy before those times across all four rounds.
The Featured Groups option is one of several extra feeds available to watch throughout the tournament, with those marquee players available from 2pm over the first two days on Sky Sports The Masters and then via the red button throughout the weekend.
Fans can follow players’ progress through Amen Corner – Augusta’s signature three-hole stretch (holes 11 to 13) – on the red button or for free via skysports.com and the Sky Sports Golf YouTube channel, while there are extra streams on the red button covering the 4th, 5th and 6th holes, as well as the 15th and 16th holes.
Along with live tournament coverage, Sky Sports’ Masters channel will also feature special documentaries and highlights from the Masters archives, plus preview shows from Monday to Wednesday bringing all the latest news and interviews from Augusta, with Wednesday’s programmes featuring coverage of the Practice Round.
There will be extended highlights shown on Sky Sports Masters each morning to look back at the previous day’s play, while the final round will be repeated in full the day after the Green Jacket has been awarded.
Special Masters programming will be available to download throughout the tournament via Sky Sports On Demand, while Sky Q customers can catch up with clips, highlights and entertaining features.
Live text commentary from first tee to last will be available on skysports.com and Sky Sports’ mobile apps, with live clips available via Sky Sports’ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

BBC Sport will show extended free-to-air highlights of the 2021 Masters from 8-11 April.
With the tournament moving back to its traditional slot this year, the BBC’s nightly highlights programmes will be on-air later in 2021, all airing after midnight on BBC Two, but there will be a daytime repeat of each show the following day, also on BBC Two.
The opening three days will be covered in a 90-minute programme each night, while all the drama of the final day’s play will be encapsulated in a bumper two-hour highlights show airing from midnight.
Eilidh Barbour presents the BBC’s coverage throughout the weekend from a new virtual studio, with commentary led by Andrew Cotter, Ken Brown and Iain Carter. Joining the BBC’s Masters team this year will be golf broadcaster Iona Stephen and former Ryder Cup captain Mark James.
The 2021 Masters will be the first on the BBC without the ‘voice of golf’ Peter Alliss, who passed away in December. He made his final appearance behind the microphone at the rescheduled 2020 Masters last November, where he commentated on the action from his home.
BBC Two’s highlights programmes will also be available to watch live on the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer, with each show available to stream on iPlayer shortly after broadcast.
Alongside TV highlights, the BBC will broadcast live radio coverage across BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 live Sports Extra throughout the week, while there will also be live text commentary, reaction and analysis on the BBC Sport website – bbc.co.uk/golf – and mobile app every day of the tournament.
