The Bundesliga is back and BT Sport will broadcast every single game from Germany’s top-flight over three days of unmissable action this weekend (16-18 May) and for the remainder of the season.
After a 61-day hiatus due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, all nine games will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport as the Bundesliga becomes the first major European league to resume.
BT Sport will broadcast every match live for the rest of the Bundesliga season, with at least one match per weekend available to watch in 4K UHD on BT Sport Ultimate.
Coverage will be presented live from the BT Sport studios with contributions from home by guests and commentators, including channel regulars Lynsey Hipgrave, James Richardson, former Bayern Munich and England player Owen Hargreaves and German football expert Raphael Honigstein.
In addition, a new ‘Bundesliga Goals Show’ will bring viewers all of the action and all of the goals as they happen from every single Saturday Bundesliga game, in the style of BT’s acclaimed Champions League version, via its BT Sport Extra red button service.
A bumper weekend of German football kicks off with five live matches kicking off at the same time on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm.

Borussia Dortmund and Schalke contest the ‘Revierderby’ at The Westfalenstadion, while other standout fixtures on Saturday are RB Leipzig’s home clash with Freiburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach’s trip to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Reigning German champions Bayern Munich travel to Union Berlin on Sunday, kicking off at 5pm, then on Monday Bayer Leverkusen round off the weekend as they visit relegation-threatened Werder Bremen.
Each team has nine or 10 league matches to play in order to complete the season and BT Sport will be the only place in the UK to watch the climax to the German top-flight season.
Commenting on the return of major live sport to its channels, Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said:
“It is great news for BT Sport customers that this weekend our customers will be able to watch live football.
“With the Bundesliga set to return on Saturday, we’re looking forward to bringing customers nine live football matches, including six live matches on Saturday afternoon, plus highlights, feature programmes and analysis.”
In addition, BT Sport will broadcast extra support programming around its Bundesliga coverage to help fans catch up with the season so far, including special features and highlights of key matches.
