UEFA Champions League Final 2019 live on BT Sport

BT Sport will live stream its exclusive coverage of the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool for free via its online platforms on Saturday, 1 June.

Alongside its TV offerings on BT Sport 2 and 4K UHD, European club football’s biggest match will be made available to watch online via BTSport.com, the BT Sport App and BT Sport’s YouTube channel for all non-BT Sport subscribers, while Virgin Media customers can watch HD coverage of the match free-to-view via channel 100, or in 4K UHD via channel 532.

The Champions League trophy is guaranteed to return to England for the first time since 2012 as two Premier League giants go head-to-head in the showpiece of European football.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool for the chance to write their name in the history books in the illustrious surroundings of Atletico Madrid’s newly-built Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

For Liverpool, who go into the match as the bookies’ favourites, the game provides the perfect opportunity to right the wrongs of last season’s heartbreak in the final in Kiev.

It also follows their miraculous comeback against fellow European giants Barcelona in the semi-finals, where the Reds rallied in the second leg to produce yet another historic Champions League comeback, walloping the Spaniards 4-0 at Anfield.

Tottenham also produced their own dramatic escape in the semi-finals against Ajax, as they followed Liverpool’s lead in overcoming a three goal deficit in the second half with a last-minute winner booking their place in Madrid.

Both Tottenham and Liverpool’s achievement in making the final was made even more miraculous by the absence of many of their key players, including Harry Kane and Mo Salah, who both could return in time for the final.

If this season’s competition overall and particularly the two semi-finals are anything to go by, the Champions League final between Tottenham and Liverpool is going to be one for the ages.

Fans can watch every minute live on BT Sport across its various TV and online platforms, with a bumper two-hour build-up programme starting at 6pm on Wednesday, 29 May, ahead of an 8pm kick-off.

Gary Lineker presents BT Sport’s coverage of the match from Madrid. He will be joined by BT Sport Champions League regulars Rio Ferdinand, Glenn Hoddle and Michael Owen in the studio.

Match commentary will be led by Darren Fletcher, alongside Steve McManaman and Jermaine Jenas, with opinion on all the key refereeing decisions throughout the match from Peter Walton, while Des Kelly, Lynsey Hipgrave and Reshmin Chowdhury provide reports and interviews from the Metropolitano Stadium.

As well as free live streaming, BT Sport’s digital platforms – the BT Sport app and BTSport.com – will also be showing the game in the enhanced video player, giving subscribers to chance to catch-up on key moments they may have missed throughout the night.

BT Sport app viewers will also be able to watch the finals in VR360 on a mobile or tablet, and they will be able to choose between a VR360 produced programme with co-commentary from Spencer Owen, aka Spencer FC, or select their own camera viewpoint.

As well as exclusive TV and online coverage, fans who want to share the moment will be able to watch at club screenings at Space by M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, plus BT Sport Pubs across the country.
