
Sky Sports and ESPN have confirmed a new batch of new live Barclays Premier League games for January as the season begins to heat up in the new year.
Featuring some potential top-of-the-table clashes, a total of 12 live games will be broadcast during the first month of 2013.
Manchester United’s home clash with Liverpool is one of eight new live Premier League fixtures confirmed for January,
Liverpool’s trip to Old Trafford will be followed by Arsenal’s home clash with Manchester City on a Super Sunday double-header on January 13.
The following weekend sees another attractive Super Sunday double bill featuring Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge clash with Arsenal and Tottenham’s home game with Manchester United.
Other confirmed clashes include a London derby between QPR and Tottenham on January 14 and Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal on January 30.
ESPN’s sole live Premier League game in January sees the local clash between West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa on January 19.
Rounds three and four of the 2012/13 FA Cup will also feature during January, with two live games on ITV1 and three on ESPN during each round.
