Eurosport has reached a two-year exclusive deal to show the Davis Cup Finals live in the UK for the next two years.
Tennis fans in the UK will be able to watch live coverage of the revamped event, the premier international team tournament in men’s tennis, on Eurosport channels and its online platforms in both 2019 and 2020.
This year’s Davis Cup has been transformed from its previous format spread over the course of the year into a one-week tennis extravaganza, following a revamp undertaken by Kosmos, the investment vehicle owned by Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique.
The 2019 finals are set to feature the best players from all over the world, including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray. The tournament will be hosted in Madrid’s Caja Magical complex between 18-24 November.
Along with extensive live multi-court coverage of all 75 matches throughout the week, Eurosport will also offer fans new camera angles and augmented reality to enhance their viewing experience.
Eurosport’s new deal with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) marks the return of the Davis Cup to its screens for the first time since 2016, with the BBC having shown exclusive live coverage of Great Britain’s ties for the past two years, as well as online coverage of key World Group matches.
The Discovery-owned broadcaster also holds the UK rights to multi-court coverage of the Australian Open and French Open, as well as daily highlights and live coverage of the men’s and women’s singles finals at Wimbledon.

Great Britain are paired with Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in Group E, with each tie featuring two singles matches followed by a doubles match. Andy Murray returns to the British team for the 18-nation tournament alongside brother Jamie, Dan Evans, Kyle Edmund and Neal Skupski.
The winner of each group and two best runner-up countries will qualify for the knockout stages, with the 2019 Davis Cup final taking place at the 12,500-capacity Manolo Santana Stadium in the Caja Magica complex on Sunday, 24 November.
Eurosport will provide live coverage of every point on all platforms and devices, including its online streaming service – Eurosport Player.
