Sky Sports has selected the two live ties that will feature as part of its coverage of this season’s Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals.
The broadcaster has chosen Manchester City’s trip to Oxford United and Aston Villa’s home clash with Liverpool.
The Carabao Cup holders take on the League One high flyers at the Kassam Stadium, kicking off at 7.45pm on Wednesday, 18 December.
Pep Guardiola’s side overcame Southampton at the fourth round stage, courtesy of Sergio Aguero’s double, whilst Oxford United progressed after a tense penalty-shootout victory against fellow League One side Sunderland.
Sky Sports will also televise Liverpool’s last-eight tie away at Aston Villa, with the date of that fixture at Villa Park confirmed by the EFL for Tuesday, 17 December.
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals are scheduled to be played the week commencing 16 December, but the Premier League leaders are also set to play in the Club World Cup semi-finals in Qatar on 18 December.
The two remaining quarter-finals see Manchester United entertain Colchester United at Old Trafford, while Everton face Leicester City at Goodison Park.
Free-to-air highlights of all four matches will be broadcast on Quest.
