After a fascinating first matchday, the UEFA Champions League is back this week for another round with some mouth-watering fixtures to enjoy, live on ITV and Sky Sports.
With 16 more live games to choose from over two nights, fans are all set for another cracking midweek of European football and the action kicks off on Tuesday tea-time at 5.00pm as 2013 champions Bayern Munich travel to CSKA Moscow, live on Sky Sports 5.
ITV has chosen to screen live coverage of Manchester City’s home clash against last season’s Serie A runners-up Roma, while Chelsea’s trip to Sporting Lisbon will be shown on Sky Sports 5 as the Blues hope to bag their first Champions League win of the season.
Also on Tuesday, there is the meeting of two of Europe’s big boys as Paris Saint-Germain host Barcelona, live on Sky Sports 1, in a match which is set to showcase hundreds of millions of pounds of talent.
Then on Wednesday night, all eight games are exclusively live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 5.00pm as Zenit host Monaco in the early kick-off, before Liverpool travel to Basel in their second group game, with live coverage of these two games back-to-back on Sky Sports 5.
Brendan Rodgers’ men were the only English club to win on matchday one as they beat Ludogorets 1-0, but they face a stern test in Switzerland this time around.
Meanwhile, Arsenal host Galatasaray, live on Sky Sports 1, as they look to bounce back from their defeat in Dortmund with victory over the Turkish giants, in the sides’ first meeting since their 2000 UEFA Cup final which Galatasaray won on penalties.

Both broadcasters, who have shared coverage of the competition since 2003, are in their final season covering live matches from Europe’s premier club competition before the rights pass over to rivals BT Sport from 2015/16.
ITV will continue to screen its chosen first pick of Tuesday night matches throughout the competition, from the group stages to next May’s final which will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
Adrian Chiles will continue to host ITV’s live match coverage where he will be joined by regular pundit Lee Dixon and new signing Paul Scholes, who won the competition with Manchester United in 1999 and 2008, while match commentary will be led by Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend.
Matt Smith will present highlights of the Tuesday night games in UEFA Champions League Extra Time on ITV at 10.35pm during each matchday.
Free-to-view highlights of Wednesday matches will be available online via the ITV Football website from Fridays, while ITV′s live match coverage, as well additional video clips, interviews and analysis, is available to watch for free via ITV Player.
Sky Sports will again screen a total 129 games throughout the competition, including 15 of the 16 fixtures from each matchday of the group stage, ties from every round of the knockout phase and the final itself, shared with ITV.
Subscribers will be treated to over 11,500 minutes of drama as the world’s greatest football talents take to the pitch to begin their quest to reach the showpiece final next May.
Jeff Stelling leads Sky’s live coverage on each matchday and will be joined by a variety of guests throughout the season, including Ruud Gullit, Graeme Souness, Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher.
New for this season, all Sky televised Champions League games on Tuesday and Wednesday will be broadcast on Sky Sports 5, as well as online via Sky Go.
Additional live games can be found via the red button on Sky Sports’ interactive service, where fans can watch a host of other teams in action from around the continent on the same night.
With the Sky Sports for iPad app, fans can choose which game they want to watch at the tip of your fingers, allowing them to navigate their way through all the key moments, view player or match statistics and watch match-related video.
Also, ‘Sky Sports 360’ returns for users to relive goals and other key moments during live play, while the functionality also gives fans the ability to choose video from more than 20 different camera angles during selected matches.

Manchester City play Serie A runners-up AS Roma in their first home game of this season’s Champions League group stage and fans can watch all the action live from the Etihad Stadium on ITV.
City will be looking to amend for their opening 1-0 defeat away to Bayern Munich, while the visitors enjoyed their first match much more, as they hammered CSKA Moscow 5-1.
The contest does feature an intriguing subplot, with former Chelsea teammates Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole possibly set to face each other on opposing sides, with Lampard on loan at City before making the move to New York City FC in 2015.
Roma added former Arsenal and Chelsea full-back Cole to their squad over the summer and he’ll be looking to prove a point on his return to England.

Chelsea make the trip to Portugal to face Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday night in a match which will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports 5.
The Blues made it to the semi-finals of last season’s competition and will be strong favourites to top a group which also includes Schalke and Slovenian side Maribor.
Sporting may well provide their toughest test, though. They may not be the force they once were, but the 18-time Portuguese champions still boast a midfield which includes on-loan Manchester United winger Nani and the much coveted William Carvalho.

Arsenal take on Galatasaray at the Emirates Stadium with the home side looking to bounce back from their opening matchday defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
The two teams’ only previous meeting came in the 2000 UEFA Cup final in Copenhagen, in which Galatasaray won 4-1 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes and became the first Turkish team to win a European competition.
