BT Sport has announced which live Aviva Premiership matches it will be broadcasting during the month of November, featuring three consecutive Sunday double-headers.
Harlequins intriguing trip to Kingsholm kicks off another bumper set of exclusively live games on the channel, which covers round seven to round nine of this season’s competition.
The 2012 Aviva Premiership champions will now travel to face David Humphreys’ Gloucester side on Friday, November 14, for a 7.45pm kick-off, the start of a stunning weekend of action which also includes a special ‘Super Sunday’ double bill on November 16, alongside the second weekend of Autumn International fixtures.
Sunday’s double-header kicks off in grand style with two of last season’s top four, Leicester Tigers and Saracens, going head-to-head at Welford Road.
This match kicks off at 1.00pm, followed at 3.15pm with London Welsh making the short trip to take on Wasps at Adams Park, completing round seven of this season’s Aviva Premiership.
Five days later, Harlequins are hosting Sale Sharks live on BT Sport, followed by another double bill on Sunday, the first being a repeat of last May’s Aviva Premiership Rugby final – Saracens v Northampton Saints – and the second seeing London Welsh host Leicester Tigers at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford.
Round nine kicks off with a Friday night trip to The Rec where Harlequins are the visitors and on Sunday London Irish host Gloucester, followed by Newcastle Falcons hosting Sale Sharks.
BT Sport will once again screen 69 exclusively live Aviva Premiership matches throughout the season, featuring all 12 sides in English club rugby’s top flight from the opening round in September through to the play-offs in May, with ITV and ITV4 again screening regular free-to-air highlights on Sunday evenings.
