The BBC and BT Sport have announced which fixtures they will televise live as part of their coverage of the First Round of the 2019/20 Emirates FA Cup.

Non-league Dulwich Hamlet’s tie against League Two Carlisle will be shown live on BBC Two, with the match on Friday 8 November 8 to kick off in the BBC’s usual 7.55pm slot for the early rounds.

The National League South side beat Havant & Waterlooville in the fourth qualifying round to reach the first round for the first time since 1998.

In total, there are 39 ties over the weekend as League One and League Two sides enter the competition, and BT Sport will broadcast three potentially-huge FA Cup upsets as non-league sides get set to host Football League opposition.

On a Sunday double-header, first up the BT Sport cameras head to National League side Dover who host to struggling League One side Southend at midday.

The Shrimpers are in the midst of a poor run which has seen them lose 7-1 and 4-1 at home, while Dover sit mid-table in the fifth tier.

Later on Sunday afternoon, BT Sport will broadcast another potential upset with seventh tier Hayes & Yeading hosting League One high-fliers Oxford United.

Hayes & Yeading, who have never progressed past the first round proper, host Oxford at the SKYEx Community Stadium at 2.15pm. Oxford were the first fourth-division side to reach the sixth round of the competition when they reached the quarter-finals back in 1964.

In the last of the FA Cup triple-header on BT Sport, another non-league outfit, Harrogate, welcome former winners of the competition, Portsmouth.

Simon Weaver’s men, who ply their trade in the National League, will welcome Pompey to the 4,000-capacity Wetherby Road on Monday night at 7.45pm.

As well as the live matches on BBC Two and BT Sport, there is the usual raft of extra FA Cup programming throughout the weekend.

BBC One’s Football Focus comes live from Maidenhead United at 12.05pm on Saturday, 9 November, ahead of the National League side’s tie against League One Rotherham United.

Highlights of Saturday’s FA Cup first-round matches will be shown on the BBC Sport website and app shortly after they conclude, as well as via the Red Button on Saturday evening from 10.40pm.

There is an FA Cup Final Score on 10 November at 12.30pm on BBC Two, presented by Jason Mohammad, bringing viewers all the goals from the ties being played on Sunday lunchtime. The programme continues on BBC One at 1.45pm.

A 90-minute highlights programme will be broadcast on Sunday, 10 November on BBC Two at 5.15pm, with the matches selected for extended coverage including Chippenham Town’s home tie against League Two side Northampton Town, as well as Barnet against Fleetwood Town.

The draw for the second round is on Monday, 11 November and will be shown live on BBC Two at 7pm.
