The draw for the second round proper of The Emirates FA Cup will be made on Monday, November 9, live on BBC Two.
Non-league teams including Salford City, Chesham and Whitehawk will find out their opponents in the next round, knowing they are just one victory away from the third round, where they could meet Premier League giants like Manchester United, Liverpool and current holders Arsenal.
After a weekend of all the usual FA Cup first round shocks and surprises, there are still eight ties to be settled in replays, whilst the final game of the round will see FC United of Manchester host Chesterfield following the draw on Monday night.
Northwich Victoria, who took Boreham Wood to a replay, are the lowest-ranked team in the draw, while other names to look out for include Salford City, who beat League 2 side Notts County in the BBC-televised tie, as well as Eastleigh, Altrincham, Stourbridge, Whitehawk and Chesham United, all of whom produced giant-killings over higher league opposition.
As well as being shown live on BBC Two, the draw, which will be presented by Mark Chapman, will also be broadcast on Radio 5 Live, as well as the BBC Sport website and app.
The draw will also be simulcast on BT Sport 2 during its coverage of the FC United of Manchester v Chesterfield tie.
The 20 second round ties will be played over the weekend of December 4-7, with BBC TV screening its first pick of the live ties, while fellow FA Cup broadcaster BT Sport will show two further live games.
The BBC will then bring fans all the best live action, highlights and analysis all the way to Wembley.
The second-round action kicks off on Friday, December 4 with live coverage from one of the most anticipated ties on BBC Two, presented by Dan Walker.
On Saturday, December 5, Football Focus will be live at one of the day’s big fixtures, with FA Cup Final Score showing all the key action as it happens from eight selected matches on Sunday, November 8.
Every goal from every match will be available on the BBC Sport website and app as part of the BBC’s extensive digital coverage, providing fans with action as early as 5.15pm on the Saturday.
Finally, there will also be a comprehensive 90-minute highlights show on BBC Two on the Sunday at 6.30pm.
The BBC has a four-year contract to screen live FA Cup games running until 2018, in partnership with BT Sport.
