Sky Sports will be the only place to watch live Barclays Premier League action on the final day of the 2014/15 season, with all the build-up and three games exclusively live from both ends of the table as a dramatic season comes to a close on ‘Survival Sunday’.
The three teams who are still in danger of relegation will all be in action, while Sky viewers can also watch Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea play their final match before being awarded the Barclays Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge, with all three games kicking off simultaneously at 3.00pm on Sunday, May 24.
Sunderland will be the visitors to west London, potentially hoping to preserve their Premier League status, in a clash which will be broadcast exclusively live on Sky 1, available to non-Sky Sports subscribers.
Over on Sky Sports 3, Newcastle United will take on West Ham United, with the Magpies going into the match with the same aim as their fierce north-east rivals as the look to avoid relegation from the top flight for the second time in six years.
Sky Sports 1 will have the other survival clash as Hull City host Manchester United, where the home side must win and hope for other results to go their way to remain in the top flight.
While Sky viewers have the choice between three matches kicking off at the same time, they will also be delivered live updates and goal replays from the other matches to ensure they are fully up to speed with the relegation picture as it happens.
Gillette Soccer Special will also offer six hours of coverage of the final day, with Jeff Stelling presenting the final edition of the season across Sky Sports News HQ from 12.00pm on Sunday.
On skysports.com and Sky Sports’ mobile apps, fans can follow the action from the final day via an interactive live blog, and can also choose individual matches and receive minute-by-minute clockwatch updates.
The final three Premier League matches complete a 23rd season on Sky Sports, with 49 of the 50 most watched matches all live on Sky Sports once again this term, with all 20 teams having been featured in the 49 matches screened.
In addition to the Premier League final day, Sky Sports will also show all three Sky Bet Football League play-off finals over the same weekend, starting with Southend United against Wycombe Wanderers live from Wembley on Saturday.
Sky Sports will offer at least four more seasons of the Premier League, including three times as many live matches as rival broadcaster BT Sport, including the most-watched slots in the schedule and the majority of top match picks from the 2016/17 season.
In February, Sky Sports secured exclusive rights to the Premier League from 2016-17 to 2018-19, winning five of the packages available and increasing the number of games to 126 per season. This ensured that Sky Sports will continue to be the main home of the Barclays Premier League for at least another four years.
Elsewhere, BBC Sport will also have the last day Premier League action covered across its TV, radio and online platforms, including the final edition of Match of the Day this season, airing on Sunday, May 24, at 10.30pm on BBC One, presented by Gary Lineker.
Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers, both of whom have spent most of the season battling against relegation, meet at the King Power Stadium, while Aston Villa host Burnley in another game between two bottom-half sides.
All eyes will be on Steven Gerrard in Liverpool’s match at Stoke, with the Reds captain set to play his final game for the club before departing to join Los Angeles Galaxy.
In London, Chelsea play Sunderland, Arsenal take on West Brom and Crystal Palace meet Swansea. Elsewhere, Tottenham travel to Everton, Hull play Manchester United, Manchester City face Southampton and Newcastle take on West Ham.
