BT Sport is to screen extensive highlights of all nine rounds of the 2014/2015 FIA Formula E Championship in the UK.
Complementing ITV Sport’s deal for live free-to-air coverage of the inaugural series, BT Sport will air a 60-minute programme in the week after each race, featuring all the key moments from every event.
All shows will feature comprehensive coverage of the race, together with a round-up of the event’s practice and qualifying sessions, plus all the latest news, features and driver interviews.
It is likely that BT Sport’s highlights will use the world feed commentary team with four-time IndyCar champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti calling the action alongside lead commentator Jack Nicholls, while pit-lane reports will come from Nicki Shields.
Since its launch in August 2013, BT Sport has established a firm commitment to motorsport with coverage of MotoGP, World Rally Championship, World Series by Renault, IndyCar and V8 Supercars.

Available across various subscription platforms including BT TV, the Sky Digital Satellite Platform and Virgin Media, BT Sport is also free for all BT Broadband customers.
ITV4 will screen live terrestrial coverage of the first FIA Formula E Championship, which starts in September, with the series set to race around iconic cities like Beijing, London, and Los Angeles.
The inaugural season starts in China on September 13, with the final Formula E race scheduled to take part in Battersea Park in London on June 27, 2015.
Team backers include Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and Virgin entrepreneur Richard Branson, and among the drivers are experienced Formula 1 campaigners Jarno Trulli, Nick Heidfeld and Bruno Senna.
