Sky Sports has confirmed the two ties it will screen live in the second round of the 2014/15 Capital One Cup in late August.
On Tuesday, August 26, Sky’s live television cameras will broadcast from stadiummk, where Sky Bet League 1 club Milton Keynes Dons take on Premier League giants Manchester United.
The Red Devils are competing in the second round of the League Cup for the first time since 1995/96 and will face the Dons, who beat AFC Wimbledon 3-1 in Round 1.
That game will kick-off at 8.00pm, live on Sky Sports 1, in the first ever meeting between the two sides as Louis van Gaal takes charge of his first ever League Cup tie for the Red Devils.
Then, at 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 27, Bradford City host Leeds United in a fascinating Yorkshire derby.
Leeds, winners of the competition in 1968, beat Accrington Stanley 2-1 in the first round, while 2013 runners-up Bradford squeezed past Morecambe 1-0.
The two sides have met 23 times in total with Leeds winning 14 games and the Bantams just two.
Last time they were paired together was also in this competition, when Leeds triumphed 3-2 at Elland Road in the First Round of the 2011/12 tournament.
Sky Sports will again screen 15 matches from this season’s Capital One Cup, including both legs of each semi-final and the final exclusively live, while terrestrial highlights of every round will be shown on BBC One.
