The 2013/14 UEFA Champions League returns for Matchday 5 and both ITV and Sky Sports will bring fans live coverage of some more brilliant action from across the continent.
In the first matchday since the momentous £900m deal by BT Sport for exclusive live coverage of both UEFA club competitions from 2015, all the big names from European football will be looking to secure their progression to the big money knockout stages in the spring.
After their wonderful win in Dortmund, Arsenal face Marseille on Tuesday night, hoping to secure qualification from the group, while Chelsea’s travel to Switzerland to face Basel.
Jose Mourinho’s team will be out for revenge after the Swiss side beat them on the opening day of the campaign, while up in Scotland, Celtic host AC Milan in their latest group game.
Both Manchester clubs are in action on Wednesday night with David Moyes’ United team travelling to Bayer Leverkusen, while Manchester City play host to Viktoria Plzen.
All the drama and excitement from this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign is being covered by ITV and Sky Sports.
ITV will continue to screen its chosen first pick of Tuesday night matches throughout the competition, from the group stages to next May’s final in Lisbon.
Adrian Chiles will continue to host ITV’s live match coverage where he will be joined by regular pundits Roy Keane and Lee Dixon.
Matt Smith will present highlights of the Tuesday night games in UEFA Champions League Extra Time on ITV at 10.35pm during each matchday.
Free-to-view highlights of Wednesday matches will be available online via the ITV Football website from Fridays.
Sky Sports will again screen 15 matches from each week of the group stages exclusively live.
In total, 129 games will be shown throughout the competition, including the final at Lisbon’s Estadio da Luz in May 2014.
Jeff Stelling leads Sky’s live coverage on each matchday and will be joined by a variety of guests throughout the season, including Ruud Gullit, Graeme Souness, Jamie Redknapp and new Sky signing Jamie Carragher.
Along with at least live games on the main Sky Sports channels on Tuesday and Wednesday, viewers can also press the red button to access Sky’s unique interactive service and watch a host of other live games from around the continent on the same night.

Arsenal face Marseille at the Emirates with the hope of booking their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Aaron Ramsey’s goal earned Arsenal a famous 1-0 win away to Borussia Dortmund earlier this month which left the Gunners top of Group F.
With the German play-maker Mesut Ozil pulling the strings, Arsenal will be expected to beat a Marseille side that have lost all four group games this season.
As their German rivals facing Napoli tonight, three points here against the group whipping boys could see Arsene Wenger’s men through to the knockout stage with a match to spare.

The Blues lost to Basel at Stamford Bridge in their opening match, but have recovered well to win their next three fixtures and top the group.
Victory here for Jose Mourinho’s side would be enough to seal their place in the last 16.

Celtic’s fate in this season’s Champions League could be decided on Tuesday night.
Having performed poorly and slumped to a 1-0 defeat away to Ajax last time out, the Bhoys enter this fixture at the bottom of the group table.
However, they currently trail the Italian giants by just two points, so while a loss in this match would definitely see them eliminated before the knockout stage, a victory would keep alive their chances of progressing to the last 16.
Live coverage of Celtic’s latest European fixture will be shown on Sky Sports 4 from 7.30pm.
Also on Sky Sports 4, four more live games will be available to watch via the Red Button, including Ajax v Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund v Napoli.

Manchester United travel to the BayArena with their progression to the last 16 not entirely assured just yet.
When the teams met at Old Trafford in matchday one, United’s attacking prowess proved too much for the German outfit as they ran out 4-2 winners.
But Bayer have recorded two wins and a draw in the group since then and can go ahead of David Moyes’ men in the table if they are victorious tonight.

Manchester City welcome Viktoria Plzen to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
City recorded a comfortable 3-0 win away to the Czech outfit in the opening round of fixtures and have already secured their passage into the knockout stage.
But Manuel Pellegrini’s side will still be determined to pick up another victory tonight and increase their chances of topping the group ahead of Bayern Munich.
