Davis Cup: Croatia v Great Britain live on British Eurosport

British Eurosport will have exclusive live coverage of Great Britain’s Davis Cup team’s crucial World Group play-off against Croatia from September 13-15.

Captain Leon Smith will look to steer Great Britain into the top tier of the Davis Cup for the first time since 2008 and will have two-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray to call upon when they make the trip to Umag in Croatia to contest the tie on clay.

Murray will be joined by Dan Evans, who had a stunning run at this year’s US Open where he eliminated 11th seed Kei Nishikori in the first round, before eventually losing to former world number five Tommy Robredo earlier this week.

British number two James Ward and doubles specialist Colin Fleming complete the four-man team.

Great Britain completed a stunning comeback in April when they recovered from going 0-2 down to beat Russia 3-2 in Coventry.

Smith has spoken about Murray’s return helping his team to continue the momentum of that win.

Murray played alongside his brother Jamie when the two countries last met in 2007, with Tim Henman completing the team in his last appearance in the tournament.

Despite their loss to Italy in the previous round, the Croatians can call on a strong group of players, including world number 38 Ivan Dodig.

Ex-British number one Annabel Croft will present British Eurosport’s on-site coverage of the three-day tie alongside Jamie Baker, who recently retired from the sport and has five Davis Cup caps to his name.

Former Great Britain Davis Cup captain Jeremy Bates, who was the LTA’s head of performance between 2003 and 2007, will be part of the channel’s commentary team alongside three-time Grand Slam mixed doubles champion Frew McMillan, Simon Reed and Chris Bradnam.
