Live televised SPFL games for September to November have been confirmed with a total of 17 matches due to be covered by Sky Sports and BT Sport.

Seven of those matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, featuring two Rangers games from League 1 and last season’s top flight champions Celtic in action twice in front of Sky cameras.

BT Sport will exclusively show live coverage of three further Scottish Premiership matches featuring the Celtic as part of 10 new matches scheduled before December.

The new channels will screen Heart of Midlothian v Celtic on Saturday, September 14 (12.30pm), Hibernian v Celtic on a date to be confirmed, as well as Ross County v Celtic on Saturday, November 9, (12.45pm).

There will also be exclusive coverage of two more Rangers games in Scottish League One on BT Sport.

They are the home game against Dunfermline on Saturday, October 12, (5.30pm) and Arbroath v Rangers on Monday, November 25, (7.45pm).

BT Sport will also show live coverage of Rangers against Brechin City on Saturday, August 10 and Airdrieonians v Rangers on Friday, August 23.

The games feature in a new list of 10 games from the Scottish Professional Football League that will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport.

Simon Green, director of BT Sport, said: “Celtic are already back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership and BT Sport viewers will be able to closely monitor their season as it develops, with four exclusively live matches.

“The away match against Hearts will be a really engrossing game. Celtic will be looking to secure three points against a club already docked 15 points and needing to raise their game to take on the current champions.

“We will also be following Rangers journey back up the Scottish Professional Football League and we’ll have shown four live matches involving the Gers by December.”

During the 2013-14 season, Sky Sports will show 25 live Scottish Premiership games plus a further five League 1 matches involving Rangers, while newcomers BT Sport will show a total of 30 live matches from the SPFL  games and 10 Rangers games.

Live SPFL matches for August were confirmed at the beginning of July.

Details of the Hibernian v Celtic fixture to shown on BT Sport over the weekend of October 19/20 will be confirmed when the situation regarding European fixtures is made clearer.
