With just less than of week of preparation remaining before Wimbledon, a selection of the ATP and WTA’s top players gather at the AEGON International in Eastbourne.
The tournament at Devonshire Park acts as the final main warm-up event ahead of third Grand Slam of the year and you can follow the action on BBC TV and British Eurosport.
Last year’s tournament saw wildcard entry Andy Roddick, who retired from tennis after the US Open, win the men’s title and Austria’s Tamira Paszek secure victory in the women’s draw.
Talented young British hopefuls Heather Watson and Laura Robson will both hope to advance further as they bid to continue the impressive progress they have made in the SW19 spotlight in recent years.
Robson, Britain’s number one, will be competing in the women’s event alongside world number four Agnieszka Radwańska who she beat at the Madrid Open at the start of May.
Other star names in the women’s draw include Angelique Kerber, Sam Stosur, Li Na, Sara Errani, Petra Kvitova and Caroline Wozniacki.
Former world number six Gilles Simon is the top seed in the men’s draw, with two other top 20 players also featuring in Juan Monaco and Philipp Kohlschreiber.
In the men’s draw British wild card James Ward will take on world number 63 Bernard Tomic, while fellow wild card Kyle Edmund faces a qualifier.
BBC Sport returns to Eastbourne this year for the first time since 2009 to cover this final pre-Wimbledon warm-up event.
It is the first time since 2008 that BBC television has provided daily coverage of the tournament.
From Tuesday to Saturday, live coverage from Eastbourne will be broadcast on BBC Two and in high-definition on BBC Two HD.
If play continues beyond 5.15pm then coverage will continue via the BBC Red Button and online.
John Inverdale introduces the action across all five days, with coverage mainly focussing on the women’s draw. Commentary will be provided by Andrew Cotter and Sam Smith.
Viewers can also watch coverage on radio, online, mobile, the BBC Sport app and Connected TV.

“The BBC’s commitment to cover the event bears testament to the quality of the tournament and the field we have assembled. With a mix of Grand Slam champions, Top 10 players and a number of the games future stars, it promises to be a wonderful week of tennis for fans in Eastbourne and at home.”

“With comprehensive coverage of the event from Tuesday, our presence further underpins the BBC’s commitment to tennis in this country alongside our coverage of the Aegon Championships at Queen’s and of course, Wimbledon.”
British Eurosport will have comprehensive live coverage of the AEGON International at Eastbourne.
The pan-European channel’s live coverage will feature both the ATP and WTA events, beginning on Wednesday.
The men’s final will be broadcast exclusively live on British Eurosport on Saturday afternoon.
Commentary comes from Simon Reed, Chris Bradnam and Jo Durie.
Bumper crowds are expected to flock to Devonshire Park following last year’s record-breaking attendances.
