Sky Sports and BT Sport have confirmed the Barclays Premier League they will televise on the penultimate weekend of a thrilling 2013/14 season.
Five games from round 37, all of which could have a huge bearing on the title race as well as who gets relegated, will be broadcast live over the weekend of May 3-6.
BT Sport’s sole live fixture is the London derby between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur at Upton Park on Saturday, May 3, at 12.45pm, with Spurs chasing a place in Europe while the home side will be hoping to push for a top 10 finish.
A further four crucial matches will be shown live on Sky Sports, kicking off with the tea-time Saturday Night Football clash between Champions League-chasing Everton and title contenders Manchester City at Goodison Park.
City will want to keep the pressure on the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal but Everton will also be hoping to keep their top-four push going.
Arsenal host West Brom on the first Super Sunday game on May 4 at 1.30pm, in a clash between the now Champions League qualification hopefuls and relegation contenders.
That match is followed by Chelsea versus Norwich, while Sky’s Monday Night Football’s offering sees Crystal Palace, aiming to avoid an immediate return to the Championship, entertain free-scoring Liverpool, who are within sight of securing their first Premier League title.
The Premier League title could be decided and so could the bottom three over the course of the weekend, but neutrals will no doubt be hoping the season reaches a dramatic conclusion on the final day.
Sky Sports and BT Sport will announce their final live games of the season in the week building up to the final round of fixtures on May 11, with Sky getting the first pick of matches.
April’s live TV fixtures include the stand out matches involve the sides still in contention for the title.
Liverpool play Manchester City on Sunday, April 13, while Chelsea must also go to Anfield before the season is out, a game that will take place two weeks later.
Every game involving the top four in April will be shown on Sky Sports, except Manchester City v Southampton this coming weekend, which will be on BT Sport.
