Ten Ladbrokes Premiership matches have been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports and BT Sport during October and November.
The list of live televised fixtures includes an SPFL first as on Wednesday, October 31, both Dundee’s home clash against Celtic and the Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibernian will be broadcast live simultaneously on BT Sport.
Reigning champions Celtic will feature four times on TV during the autumn, whilst Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will be shown live three times, including their trip to Hibernian, which is subject to postponement depending on the progress of clubs to the semi-finals of the Betfred Cup, which will be staged that weekend.
Sky Sports and BT Sport will broadcast 25 live matches between them from the Ladbrokes Premiership, plus selected Championship matches, during the 2018/19 season, with Sky holding exclusive rights to show all four Old Firm derbies.
In addition to the SPFL, BT Sport will screen six play-off games in May and is also the exclusive live UK home of the Betfred Cup, while Sky Sports covers Scotland’s international fixtures and the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Free-to-air highlights will be shown every Sunday throughout the SPFL season on BBC Scotland’s flagship Sportscene show. BBC Alba will also broadcast delayed coverage of SPFL Premiership matches every Saturday, as well as selected live games from the Championships and lower leagues.
