BT Sport have announced the two live First Round replays it will be televising as part of the channel’s coverage of the 2014/15 FA Cup.
The first televised replay will be held on Wednesday, November 19, with Aldershot hosting 2008 FA Cup winners Portsmouth, kicking off at 7.45pm, live on BT Sport 1.
The military towns drew 2-2 at Fratton Park in the original tie with Danny Hollands rescuing Pompey inside the last 10 minutes, after goals from Jordan Roberts and Mark Molesley had put the Shots in front.
Jed Wallace had given the 2008 cup winners the lead from the penalty spot after 16 minutes before the Conference Premier side staged their fight back.
The winners of the replay will face either Northampton or Rochdale at home in the second round.
BT Sport’s second live replay sees Stevenage’s visit to Maidstone United on Thursday, November 20, also kicking off at 7.45pm and again live on BT Sport 1.
The Isthmian Premier League side held Graham Westley’s Stevenage to a 0-0 draw at Broadhall Way in the initial tie and should they come through that they face a trip to north Wales to take on Wrexham in the second round.
BT Sport’s live FA Cup coverage this season will be presented by Jake Humphrey from pitchside alongside regular pundits including Michael Owen, Robbie Savage, Owen Hargreaves and Steve McManaman, as well as a number of special guests.
Ian Darke, Darren Fletcher and Derek Rae lead commentary duties on all of BT Sport’s FA Cup ties, while Ray Stubbs and Darryl Currie provide reports and interviews from pitchside.
As well as the live games, BT Sport will broadcast highlights and goal clips from each round of the competition in programmes throughout each FA Cup weekend.
Alongside comprehensive TV coverage, fans can enjoy all the action on the go from each live FA Cup tie via the BT Sport app, while match highlights, goal clips, interviews and special features will also be available to watch on the app and on btsport.com.
In addition, all the goals from the FA Cup First Round replays will be available to watch online shortly after the conclusion of each match via the BBC Sport website.
