After weeks of speculation, deals and announcements, the Summer Transfer Deadline Day finally closes at 11.00pm on Monday, September 1 and Sky Sports, BBC Sport and BT Sport will be keeping fans up to date with the very latest throughout the day with their blanket coverage.
Like any other deadline day, this one is certain to throw up some shocks and surprises, as well as few panic buys, as the new season enters September with teams looking to get into its stride following the opening weekends.
The future of some of the Premier League’s biggest stars will be made clearer come 11.00pm on September 1, with top-flight clubs having until Monday night to strengthen their squads ahead of another tough season that lies in wait across the next nine months.
Invariably, many transfers will only be resolved at the last minute and it promises to be yet another busy deadline day as clubs scramble to sign new players to boost their ambitions and the summer transfer deadline has certainly proved to be crucial transfer window over the last few seasons.
Last summer English clubs spent a record £630m in the transfer window, with the headline-grabbing deadline-day moves back then including Arsenal’s purchase of Mesut Ozil and Marouane Fellaini’s move to Manchester United.

The clock is ticking to the closure of the Summer Transfer Window and Sky Sports will bring fans unrivalled coverage of Deadline Day, a day which Sky Sports News has made its own over the past few seasons.
This will be the first Transfer Deadline Day to be broadcast on the new-look Sky Sports News HQ, which launched on August 12, and the channel will have reporters across the country to provide blanket coverage of the day’s events, starting at 6.00am and running for a total of 18 hours, before concluding at 12midnight.

BBC Sport will bring football fans the very latest on every move across television, radio and online as the Summer Transfer Window draws to a close.
Firstly on television, Dan Walker will present a special Transfer Deadline Day edition of Football Focus on BBC One from 11.35pm on Monday night.
He will be joined in the BBC Sport studio in Salford by Danny Murphy, Jason Roberts and Phil Neville to round up the day’s events in a special 40-minute programme.
Walker and the BBC’s team of reporters will also bring fans the latest transfer news throughout the day via the BBC Red Button, which can also be viewed via the BBC Sport website.
A Deadline Day special will run from 12.00pm to 12.15am and feature regular updates from the BBC Sport Centre in Salford.
The BBC News Channel will broadcast a Transfer Deadline Day edition of Football Focus at 6.30pm, presented by Dan Walker with guests Jason Roberts and Danny Murphy, which will also be streamed on the BBC Sport website.

BT Sport will also be getting in on the Summer Transfer Deadline Day act with a special edition of its daily sports news programme SportsHUB.
Des Kelly presents a two-hour Follow the Transfer programme on BT Sport 1 starting 9.30pm – with 90-minutes to go before the deadline closes at 11.00pm – live from the channel’s state-of-the-art studios on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
