Every Premier League club On Demand with Sky Sports

Sky Sports is to launch a special section on its On Demand dedicated to every Barclays Premier League club allowing fans to catch up on programming and features on their club at any time.

Subscribers will be able to choose from 20 different club sections in the On Demand section on the Sky+HD box for the first time, offering fans an unmissable selection of programming featuring their favourite team.

The service will be introduced for the new football season and is part of Sky’s bumper offering for the forthcoming campaign, which includes the pick of the action from the Barclays Premier League and the launch of Sky Sports 5, the network’s new European football channel.

Sky On Demand’s new club sections offer fans an easy way to find and watch the latest content on their favourite team and will offer an ever increasing library from a range of content.

This will include full matches from the Barclays Premier League as shown live on Sky Sports, interviews featuring players and managers, documentaries of legends and golden eras from each club, as well as clips and features from Sky Sports shows Soccer AM and The Fantasy Football Club.

Gary Hughes, Sky Sports’ head of football, commented: “For the first time, Sky Sports viewers can download and enjoy some of the best content dedicated to their team, whenever they want.

“With massive growth in on demand TV viewing, we’re delighted to introduce this brand new service for Barclays Premier League fans.

“Fans of all 20 clubs will soon be able to watch the latest news and views on their club at any time, thanks to Sky Sports.”

Sky On Demand can be accessed by Sky customers with an internet-connected box, allowing them to download a wider range of content. As well as Box Sets of hit series, Sky customers can also rent or purchase movies through Sky Store.

All of this is available to customers through the home page on the Sky electronic programme guide (EPG), which showcases the full range of on demand content available to customers.

This season, Sky Sports will again offer 116 live Premier League fixtures for subscribers, along with action from the UEFA Champions League, Football League, Euro 2016 qualifiers and much more.

The new Premier League On Demand section is part of a wider revamp of Sky Sports’s online services ahead of August 12, when Sky Sports 5 and Sky Sports News HQ goes on-air for the first time.
