2018 County Cricket season live on Sky Sports

Sky Sports has announced its opening selection of live matches for the 2018 County Cricket season.

Televised coverage starts in mid-May with the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup, followed by selected matches throughout the summer from the T20 Vitality Blast, women’s Kia Super League and Specsavers County Championship.

Nottinghamshire Outlaws begin the defence of the title they won in such impressive fashion against Surrey – thanks in no small part to Alex Hales’ 187 not out – by travelling to Emirates Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports.

Live coverage of the Vitality T20 Blast begins in July, with the Outlaws also featuring in the first match in front of the Sky Sports cameras in the rebranded T20 competition as the road to Finals Day at Edgbaston on Saturday, 15 September, begins.

In addition, 12 matches from the Kia Women’s Super League will be broadcast this summer, almost double the amount of games broadcast from the 2017 competition, which was won by Western Storm.

Fans of first-class cricket can follow both divisions of the Specsavers County Championship throughout the summer with regular updates from around the grounds on Sky Sports News.

Essex won their first pennant since 1992 last summer and Sky’s cameras will again catch the climax to the competition with two live four-day matches covering the final two rounds of the season in September.

Sky’s county cricket coverage complements its exclusively live coverage of all England’s home Tests against Pakistan and India, plus One-Day and T20 Internationals versus Australia and India.

The broadcaster’s digital platforms – skysports.com and the Sky Sports app – will bring fans all the scorecards, latest news and reaction from county cricket, as well as match round-ups, while Sky Go will stream all the action online, on iPhone, iPad or selected Android smartphones with the Sky Go app.

Follow all the domestic cricket action across Sky Sports this summer. Details of the confirmed live matches below or visit our Live Cricket on TV page for the latest listings.
