Sky & BT confirm live Premier League games in May

Sky Sports and BT Sport have announced seven new live Premier League fixtures to be televised in May as the 2017/18 season reaches its climax.

With Manchester City having all but sealed the title, the race for the top four and the battle to avoid the drop will feature among the chosen live matches, with Sky Sports showing a series of crunch clashes in the final week of the season.

The penultimate Super Sunday of the season will see Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, while Pep Guardiola and Manchester City could lift the Premier League trophy following their final home game against Huddersfield.

Manchester United’s away games against Brighton and West Ham will also be shown, as well as two key matches in the relegation battle when Stoke visit Crystal Palace and Swansea host Southampton.

BT Sport has confirmed its final live Premier League fixture of the season will be the clash between Everton and Southampton at Goodison Park on Saturday, 5 May.

These seven fixtures are in addition to several confirmed rearranged televised fixtures in April, which had to be rescheduled due to club’s European and FA Cup commitments.

The final round of Premier League fixtures will take place on Sunday, 13 May, with at least two live matches on Sky Sports, to be confirmed in the week prior.
