The BBC and Sky Sports have confirmed the division of live ties for the quarter-finals of this season’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup in July.

Following a pulsating weekend of sixth round ties, the quarter-finals of English rugby league’s blue-ribband cup competition will begin on Thursday, June 15, with Salford Red Devils taking on Wakefield Trinity in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

The pay TV broadcaster will also cover the second quarter-final tie the following night as Leeds Rhinos host Championship side Featherstone Rovers, with both of Sky Sports’ live ties kicking off at 8pm.

Over the weekend, the remaining two quarter-final ties will be broadcast live and free-to-air on BBC TV.

BBC One will show Warrington Wolves’ home clash against Wigan Warriors on Saturday, June 17, with the round finishing off on Sunday afternoon with Hull FC v Castleford Tigers live on BBC Two.

Both of the BBC televised ties will kick-off at 3.00pm, with the draw for the semi-finals to take place immediately after the conclusion of the Hull FC v Castleford Tigers tie, with live coverage on BBC Two and the BBC Sport website.
