FA Youth Cup Final 2017 live on ITV4

Chelsea and Manchester City’s Under-18s meet in the FA Youth Cup Final for the third successive year and ITV4 will broadcast live coverage of both legs.

The first clash sees City play host at their Academy Stadium on Tuesday, April 18, before the return leg will take place at Stamford Bridge just over a week later on Wednesday, April 26.

Jody Morris’ side will be aiming to continue Chelsea’s recent domination of the competition and seal a fourth straight Youth Cup title.

Manchester City, meanwhile, will also be looking bring that run to an end and seal their first Youth Cup title since 2008, when they ironically beat a Chelsea side managed by Paul Clement by an aggregate score of 4-2.

But Chelsea have won the competition five times including 4-2 and 5-2 aggregates against City in the last two seasons.

This year’s final was confirmed when Manchester City saw off Stoke City by 3-1 in their semi-final second leg to complete an impressive 9-1 aggregate scoreline.

Chelsea had already reached the final, after beating Tottenham Hotspur by 7-1 in their semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge to secure a 9-2 aggregate win.

Both legs kick-off at 7.45pm and broadcast live and free-to-air on ITV4, with Jacqui Oatley presenting live coverage and match commentary from Sam Matterface and Danny Higginbotham.

ITV4’s coverage will also be available to watch live and on catch-up via the ITV Hub – itv.com/itv4.
