Sky Sports and BT Sport will follow the race for the title, the battle for the top four and the fight for survival in a packed Premier League schedule for April.

The Merseyside and north London derbies, as well as Manchester United’s clash with Chelsea, are among the 17 live matches to be broadcast on Sky Sports, while BT Sport’s eight live games in April include Chelsea’s home fixture against Manchester City and south-coast derby.

It is set to be one of the closest run-ins at both ends of the table and both networks will feature all the top teams during April as both the title race and the fight for Premier League survival intensifies.

Sky Sports Head of Football, Gary Hughes said: “Sky Sports is the place to see the remaining big fixtures as the Premier League heads towards its dramatic conclusion.

“There is so much still to play for at both ends of the table and we will be there every step of the way.”

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “As the year’s major competitions begin to reach their conclusion, April’s busy footballing schedule should prove pivotal to all football teams in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Emirates FA Cup.

“Whether your team is fighting for the title, relegation or battling it out in the latter stages of cup competitions, we have a great month of football in store.”

All 25 newly confirmed live Premier League games in April will also be available to watch Sky and BT’s respective 4K Ultra HD services, on Sky Q via the red button and BT Sport 4K UHD channel.
